The Equine Touch: your gift to your horse

 3 DAY COURSE

    LEARN THE EQUINE TOUCH MOVE 

  •  LEARN THE FULL BASIC BODY BALANCE FOR THE HORSE
  •     LEARN MOVES FOR COMMON AREAS OF CONCERN  FOR THE HORSE 
  •     LEARN A SIMPLE BODY BALANCE FOR THE RIDER
  •    FULLY ILLUSTRATED COURSE MANUAL PROVIDED
  •    CERTIFICATE ISSUED ON SUCCESSFUL COURSE COMPLETION

 

 

 Course Structure

·         Three days duration, each day starting at 9.30am and ending approx. 4.30pm.

·         Human bodywork: morning Day One and morning Day Two

·         Equine bodywork: afternoon Day One, afternoon Day Two, all Day Three.

 Student Requirements

·         Students must be aged 16 or over. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian countersign the Acknowledgment of Risk Form at the start of the course. If a student under the age of 16 wishes to attend the course then a parent or guardian must be present and provide fulltime supervision during the course.

·         There is no minimum requirement for horse handling skills and experience at this level of Equine Touch. However, students who do not have any  horse handling experience, or limited experience, must inform the Office prior to attending so that appropriate arrangements can be made with the Host and Instructor.

·         There is no requirement of students to have studied any form of bodywork, complementary therapy or anatomy / physiology prior to the course.

Course Cost

·         The course cost is £320 per student.

·         A deposit of £110 is required per student to reserve a place on a course. Deposit cheques (payable to Equine Touch NCC UK) and a completed booking form need to be sent to the UK Office. In the event that the student cannot attend the course the deposit can be transferred to another course held within the following 12 months; after this time the deposit is void and non-refundable.

·         The balance of the course fee is due on the morning of Day One of the course. If paying by cheque this should be made payable to the nominated Instructor.
